Tommy was fond of wearing newspaper headlines
and Tomata's pants are hand-painted. KK was too adorable and
later became an acclaimed art director for music videos and
"Being John Malkovich" and other movies. |

Always stylish, the Screamers knew exactly
where to be and how to keep all eyes focused on them. They
were keenly aware of exactly how to pose and convey who they
were and what they were about within nanoseconds. No agonizing
or conferring how to pose. Amazing, wonderful to shoot, hang
with and watch/hear.

Lisa Fancher, writer for Bomp, other fanzines
and her own early "Street Life." And who is that
behind her? John Morris, aka legendary wild man, BLACK RANDY,
close friend of the Screamers and legendary provocateur.

Always smiling Billy Zoom, in his spray-painted
silver leather jacket. That's Tomata in the background, no
doubt securing more records for the soundtrack of the best
parties I'll ever attend!

Tommy Gear of the Screamers with one of
my earliest pals, sweet Genny Body of Backstage Pass. The stories
she tells mea re so hot, some of which I can't repeat, but so
much fun! |
