I was at the Los Angeles Forum, Inglewood, to shoot Blue Oyster Cult. Unknown to me at the time, Sandy Pearlman, was set to produce their American debut album. I ran into Mick Jones backstage, with rock scribe, Richard Meltzer, whom I ran into all the time at punk shows. I don’t think many in America knew who Mick Jones was at the time. I was so stunned I could only take a few shots and try not to faint. Hubba, hubba!
